What is Warriorlink?

WarriorsLink is a one-stop resource for many of the services students, faculty, and staff need to conduct college business and support student success. It replaces a network of various systems—some 40-years old. WarriorsLink is part of the statewide ctcLink initiative by all 34 Washington community and technical colleges to modernize systems and make them more efficient and user friendly for students and employees.

Why are we doing this Warriorlink project? What are the benefits?

Our old system no longer functions in the way we need to handle college business and support student success. Read the “Why ctcLink” section on this webpage for additional information and benefits.

Why are various college services unavailable for an extended period of time during implementation of Warriorlink?

A transition to a new system is an extremely complex effort across many areas of the college. The implementation team will be required to shut down various services so that information and processes can be transitioned into the new system. This enormous effort will take place over a 6-week period, with services being shut down in a prescribed order during that time period. The “Project Impacts on Students” section on this webpage provides a listing of student-related college services that we anticipate will be impacted, the estimated date they will become unavailable, and various precautions, actions, and alternatives people should know as a result.

How do I get to the ctcLink login screen?

To get to the ctcLink login screen:

How will I get my ctcLink ID number?

Returning Students: If you are a current or returning student, you will get your new ctcLink ID number (called EMPLID in the system) when you activate your ctcLink account beginning approximately April 25, 2022. Be sure to write down your new number when you get it and keep it in a safe place.

New students: Your ctcLink ID number is included in the welcome email you receive from WWCC.

What if I forget my ctcLink ID number?

Be sure to write down your new ctcLink ID number (EMPLID) when you get it and keep it in a safe place. You will need it to login to ctcLink.

If, however, you forget your ctcLink ID after you activate your account, you can retrieve your credentials by entering your SID and PIN using a lookup tool that will be available in late October.

What if I already have a ctcLink ID from another college?

If you have already received a ctcLink ID number from another college in Washington state, you do not need to activate your account or receive a new number. The ctcLink ID number you already have is what you will use at WWCC as well.

Where can I get help activating my ctcLink account or using ctcLink?

You won’t be alone as you start using ctcLink. IT staff will be on standby to assist with technical issues. Online help and support—both self-service tutorials and Zoom meetings will be available.

Is Canvas impacted by the transition to ctcLink?

No. WWCC will continue to use the Canvas online learning environment, though it will be integrated with ctcLink to improve how information is uploaded into Canvas.
